Access to Digium SVN
Two days ago I was talking on #asterisk-dev with russellb and Corydon about a task in Asterisk that was waiting for some coders. I started work on this issue but had to redo the patches 3 times because of changes in asterisk that would conflict with the work I had done.
To make life a bit easier I suggested some developer start a branch so we can stay up-to-date with the core development and it would also make it easier to merge the branch back once all the work was done.
To my big suprise, they told me they added me to the access list of the Digium subversion server and that I could do all this myself from now on!
This is a big honor because there are only like 30 other developers outside Digium that have access to this subversion machine, and most have contributed a lot more and a lot more dificult code. Nice detail is that I'm the only one from The Netherlands that has access now :)
